Samsung drops Galaxy S26 Ultra prices by $200 in the US

By:Yash
6 April 2026 at 22:13

Samsung has rolled out new no-trade-in instant credit offers across its Galaxy S26 lineup, and for the first time since launch, buyers can pocket real money off these phones before they even hit checkout.

For buyers who don’t have a device to trade in, or who sold their last phone privately, or who simply don’t trust carrier trade-in estimates, this is the cleanest path to an S26 that has existed since the lineup launched.

The Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus each get $100 off. That brings them to $799 and $999, respectively. The S26 Ultra drops $200, landing at $1,099 to start.

These cuts apply across every memory tier, every color option. Samsung isn’t hiding the discount behind some upsell. That’s a meaningful move, even if Samsung won’t frame it that way.

Samsung’s early S26 incentives were mostly pre-order credits. However, those credits came with strings: spend them on wearables, spend them on accessories, spend them inside Samsung’s ecosystem or lose them.

That’s not a discount, but a coupon. Well, this is different; this is money off the actual phone before you pay. Samsung didn’t announce this with fanfare; it just appeared, first spotted by our folks at SamMobile.

Which means either demand is softer than that company would like, or someone in pricing finally did the math and realized they were leaving buyers on the table.

The no-trade-in framing is deliberate; Samsung knows how trade-in deals work. The headline number looks generous until you actually try to redeem it, and your four-year-old phone gets quoted a fraction of what you expected.

This offer skips all of that: you don’t need to hand over anything, you are just paying less.

Scandal as 14-year-old Bosnia ball boy confesses to stealing Donnarumma cheat sheet

6 April 2026 at 18:04

Gianluigi Donnarumma was enraged with the Bosnia and Herzegovina team after Italy’s World Cup play-off defeat and it is now revealed why, as a ball boy stole his penalties cheat sheet.

The Azzurri had held on when down to 10 men for a 1-1 draw after extra time in Zenica, forcing the tie to go all the way to a penalty shoot-out.

Usually, Donnarumma is very strong in these situations, acting as the hero when Italy won the EURO 2020 Final against England on penalties.

However, this time he didn’t get near any of the efforts from the Bosnian players, and he was spotted screaming angrily at Bosnian goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj.

Donnarumma rage explained in Bosnia vs. Italy shoot-out

This was because he accused Vasilj of stealing the cheat sheet that was hidden under his towel before the shoot-out, so in revenge tried to tear up his own list of indications.

It is now revealed that Donnarumma’s list was indeed stole, but not by Vasilj, rather by a 14-year-old ball boy.

The kid, a Celik youth team player called Afan Cizmic, revealed all when speaking to a local television station.

“I saw there was something next to the towel and realised immediately what it was. I took it and hid it. This had all the indications on our players, and without that list, Donnarumma would need to go by instinct.”

It might’ve been unsporting behaviour, but some Bosnian fans are urging Cizmic to be rewarded with a trip to the World Cup as the team mascot.

4th Samsung foldable in 2026? New 3C listing hints at Galaxy Z Fold 8 FE

By:Yash
6 April 2026 at 16:59

Samsung already had a busy foldable roadmap for 2026. Then a 3C battery listing surfaced, and now the count might be going up.

The certification, filed through China’s 3C database, ties two battery variants, EB-BF977DAY and EB-BF977DAE, to a model number nobody’s seen before: SM-F977. That specific identifier hasn’t appeared in any prior leak.

Samsung’s naming logic isn’t exactly mysterious at this point. The “F9” prefix on a model number almost always signals a Fold device. SM-F977 almost certainly belongs to the Fold family, even if we don’t know which version yet.

A Galaxy Z Fold 8 FE is the obvious guess (via SammyGuru).

Samsung’s SM-F977 device could also be a second Wide Fold configuration, a TriFold sequel, or a test unit that never sees a store shelf. 3C listings don’t distinguish between production-bound hardware and engineering samples.

The listing shows a 2,485 mAh cell; Samsung uses dual-cell battery designs across its foldable lineup. So that 2,485 mAh figure is almost certainly one of two cells, putting total capacity somewhere around 5,000 mAh.

The SM-F977 designation hasn’t appeared anywhere else, which cuts both ways. It might mean Samsung is managing leaks better than usual. Or it means this device barely exists beyond an engineering prototype sitting in a lab.

Samsung Galaxy S25 users grab April 2026 update

By:Yash
6 April 2026 at 15:44

Users of the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are getting the April 2026 security update. This development comes a little after the company expanded the Galaxy S26 lineup’s April update to Europe, India, and the US.

Samsung’s April 2026 security update is available for the Galaxy S25 series in South Korea. The patch details are yet to be released by Samsung. Expansion outside Korea would take some time, just like the Galaxy S26 series.

Users can identify the update through the PDA build version BZCH. The update weighs around 550 megabytes and the content seems familiar. The changelog has nothing specific about the fixes apart from a newer security patch.

Just recently, Samsung confirmed the rollout of Galaxy S26’s features to the Galaxy S25 series. The updates would come as part of One UI 8.5. However, the company hasn’t disclosed when the public rollout will begin.

AI-powered Call Screening is the most important Galaxy S26 feature confirmed to arrive on the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung also confirmed “useful enhancements” for last year’s flagships as part of the One UI 8.5 upgrade.

One UI 8.5 Beta is also underway in six countries. If you’re on Beta, it’s not the firmware update for your device; you will get the 9th Beta. It appears only when your Galaxy phone is running the Android 16-based One UI 8.

If you are not a Beta Program participant, you will get the BZCH build. Check for updates manually through Settings > Software update > Download and install.

OnePlus 16’s 200MP periscope telephoto camera could feature this image sensor

6 April 2026 at 14:16

OnePlus appears to be preparing the OnePlus 16 flagship with a strong focus on imaging, as the previous generation featured subpar cameras. A new leak reveals that the OnePlus 16 may bring a notable upgrade to its telephoto camera setup. Here’s a look at what to expect from the OnePlus 16’s cameras.

OnePlus 16 to feature familiar 200MP periscope telephoto camera

According to Smart Pikachu on Weibo, a 200-megapixel imaging solution originally associated with Realme has now appeared in OnePlus’ development pipeline. Earlier reports have indicated that this 200-megapixel periscope unit may use the Samsung HP5 sensor, which Realme has used on phones like the Realme 16 Pro series and Realme GT 8 Pro.

Other reports have revealed that the OnePlus 16’s camera system is also likely to include two additional 50-megapixel sensors for the main and ultra-wide lenses, forming a balanced triple-camera setup.

In addition to camera upgrades, the OnePlus 16 is expected to bring significant improvements in performance. Its display is likely to support 1.5K resolution with a high refresh rate, possibly reaching up to 200Hz or higher.  The device could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, built on an advanced 2nm process.

The chipset is expected to be paired with LPDDR6 RAM, which may offer a substantial increase in bandwidth compared to current standards. This could improve multitasking, gaming, and on-device AI processing. Additional features may include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and OxygenOS 17 based on Android 17.

There is a possibility that the rising component costs may result in higher pricing, with early estimates suggesting a starting price of around 5,000 Yuan (~$725). It is expected to launch in China around October, followed by a global rollout in November.

Galaxy S26 April 2026 update hits US, India, Europe – big relief for 3x camera?

By:Yash
6 April 2026 at 13:55

Samsung has started rolling out April 2026 update to the Galaxy S26 series across Europe, India and the US. The latest firmware possibly carries improvements for the 3x camera problems users reported over the past couple of weeks.

On the first day of April, Samsung kickstarted the update’s rollout. Samsung’s April 2026 update was initially released for the Galaxy S26 series in South Korea, and the latest brings it to Europe, India (AZCL) and the US (AZCM).

I just returned from Samsung’s security bulletin page, which is still stuck on the March chart. The company hasn’t yet disclosed the April patch details. Well, Samsung did actually improve the update deployment this month.

Some Galaxy S26 Ultra users are facing issues with the 3x camera. Samsung’s Korean community has plenty of complaint posts about it. Users say the 3x camera mode renders blurry images, which should be improved ASAP.

Samsung acknowledged the problem and released the fix. However, consumers aren’t satisfied with the patch, demanding necessary improvements. A firmware was planned without an exact release date, which might be included this month.

With the expansion underway, more users should receive the firmware. You can check for updates manually through Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Samsung has also made a major announcement for the Galaxy S25 users. The company plans to bring select AI features and useful enhancements from the Galaxy S26 series to the Galaxy S25 series as part of One UI 8.5 update.

World Cup qualification earns Iraq coach Arnold a hero’s welcome in Sydney

Iraq’s head coach Graham Arnold couldn’t help but pause, smile and wave to the hundreds of Iraqi football fans gathered at Sydney airport to welcome back the Australian after he guided the Arab team to their first FIFA World Cup in 40 years.

Arnold was given a rapturous welcome as the jubilant Iraqis sang, danced to the beat of drums and tambourines, held aloft placards proclaiming their love for the coach and chanted his name as the 62-year-old walked out of the airport on Sunday night.

Fans waved Iraqi and Australian flags as they chanted “Arnie, Arnie, Arnie, oi, oi, oi” while Arnold spoke to local media following his return from Mexico, where his team won the intercontinental playoff final against Bolivia on Tuesday.

The 2-1 victory came during a tumultuous time in Iraq, engulfed in the Middle East conflict that left several players stranded in various parts of the region and threatened to sabotage their campaign for the playoff tournament.

However, Iraq overcame a logistical nightmare and strong South American opposition to mark their return to the global showpiece event for the first time since 1986.

The Lions of Mesopotamia also returned home to a hero’s welcome. Thousands of fans lined the streets in central Baghdad as the players, sitting atop a double-decker bus, celebrated with their compatriots on Saturday.

Arnold was not part of those celebrations but the Iraqi community in Australia ensured the coach didn’t feel left out.

“Crazy, crazy. I didn’t expect this here in Australia. Obviously in Iraq. But it’s incredible,” Arnold told Australian broadcaster SBS as he stood in front of the fans in the terminal.

“First, I want to apologise to everyone in Iraq that I couldn’t go back there to celebrate due to the airspace shutdown.

“Seeing this here is amazing. Thank you very much.

“I’m just very, very proud of the players and what they did, making many Iraqis happy is very important and that was the main thing.”

Reports in Australian media said local Iraqi football fans found out about Arnold’s return flight from Iraq’s Football Association (IFA) and decided to greet him at the airport.

Fans could be seen chanting “One, one, one, Arnold number one” as the coach took in the scenes around him.

Arnold, who formerly coached Australia, took charge of the Iraqi team in May and led them to three wins, three draws and two losses in their World Cup qualification campaign.

The results took Iraq to the fifth and final round of the Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) qualification competition, where they beat the United Arab Emirates 3-2 on aggregate in November and secured a place in the FIFA playoff tournament.

Earlier in March, the former Australian international player urged FIFA to postpone Iraq’s playoff final fixture or find a way to ensure the players reached Mexico well ahead of the match as they grappled with the consequences of the US-Israeli war on Iran.

His plea was heard as FIFA arranged a charter flight for the Iraqi squad and support staff, who reached Mexico just over a week ahead of the March 31 final.

Following their win, Arnold was effusive in his praise of the Iraqi players who participated in the match while the war raged on.

“Everything that is going on in the Middle East made it a little bit harder,” Arnold said after the play-off final.

“I banned social media since the day we got here,” he added. “I did not want them to think of what is going on in the Middle East because they had to focus on the job we had here.”

Arnold said qualifying for the World Cup was a major privilege for the players. “Iraq has nothing to lose.”

Iraq will be placed in one of the toughest groups at the World Cup. Their opponents in Group I will be France, Norway and Senegal.

The Middle East team will face Norway in their opening game on June 16 in Boston. Their second fixture will be against 2018 champions France on June 22 in Philadelphia and their final group game against Senegal is four days later in Toronto, Canada.

Samsung makes Galaxy S25 users happy, confirms S26 AI features and One UI 8.5

By:Yash
6 April 2026 at 12:57

Galaxy S25 users were not quite happy with Samsung, but a new notice appeared in the Members app flips the script, with plenty of S26 features set to expand.

Samsung doesn’t always say it out loud, but this time it did. The community pushed, and Samsung listened.

A fresh notice on the South Korean Samsung Members forum (via Alfaturk) has effectively locked in what early adopters of the Galaxy S25 lineup wanted to hear.

Samsung is preparing a new firmware step, One UI 8.5, and it is not just a routine UI skin refresh. It carries forward a set of “advanced Galaxy AI” features that many assumed would stay exclusive to the next flagship cycle.

The company’s wording is deliberate here. This is not framed as a minor stability update or a carrier-driven rollout tweak. The company is positioning One UI 8.5 as an AI expansion layer inside its broader firmware roadmap.

One feature stands out immediately: enhanced call screening. The bigger takeaway is the phrase “advanced Galaxy AI.” Samsung is signaling parity, not trickle-down.

The Galaxy S25 series is being treated less like last year’s hardware and more like an active participant in Samsung’s AI platform. The Samsung Members thread shows sustained pressure from power users, the kind who track every beta build.

Announcements from South Korea are not just local signals.

If Samsung has committed to this rollout in its home market, US unlocked devices and carrier variants are next in line. There may be slight delays, but the direction is set. One UI 8.5 with expanded Galaxy AI is coming to the S25 series globally.

Sweden March 2026: Tesla, BMW, Kia shine in solid market

6 April 2026 at 11:45

The new iX3 helps BMW up 50.4% in March.

New car sales in Sweden advance 9.8% year-on-year in March to 26,578 units, leading to a year-to-date volume off -2.3% to 61,960. BEVs surge 29.7% to 10,875 and 40.9% share vs. 34.6% a year ago, while PHEVs are up just 2.4% to 6,466 and 24.3% share vs. 26.1% in March 2025. As a whole, rechargeable cars shoot up 17.9% to 17,341 and 65.2% share vs. 60.7% last year.

Brand leaders Volvo (-9.7%) and Volkswagen (-10.8%) both disappoint at 14.5% and 11.7% share respectively, vs. 15.9% (-10.6%) and 11.9% (-21%) year-to-date. In contrast Kia (+44.2%) shoots up to #3 ahead of Toyota (-5.7%), also in difficulty. BMW (+50.4%) is also in outstanding shape, but none more so than Tesla (+95.8%) truly getting back into the game at #6. Note the US carmaker was down -63.9% on the year prior in March 2025. Notice also Subaru (+1581.8%), Mazda (+159.9%) and Fiat (+88%) making themselves noticed.

Over in the models charts, the Tesla Model Y (+80.2%) regains traction and signs its first monthly win since December 2024. The Volvo XC60 (-25.5%) repeats at #2 but sinks year-on-year and ends the month above the Volvo EX/XC40 (+25.8%), still leader year-to-date. The VW Tiguan (+89%) soars 7 spots on February to #4, the nameplate’s highest ranking in Sweden since hitting #3 over 6 years ago in November 2019. The Skoda Kodiaq (+34%) brilliantly rounds out the Top 5 ahead of a surging Volvo EX30 (+84.4%), ensuring the Top 6 is entirely composed of SUVs.

Russia March 2026: Toyota, Belgee up, Tenet plateaus

6 April 2026 at 09:29

Tenet holds 9.9% of the Russian market in March.

Russian new car sales advance 30.6% year-on-year in March to 104,278 units, however this is mainly catching up on lost ground as March 2025 was off -45.5% on the year prior. The year-to-date tally tilts into positive for Q1 at +7.3% to 264,909. Once again Lada (-0.1%) vastly trails its home market to 24.1% share vs. 31.5% in March 2025. Haval (+50.7%) surges ahead at #2 with 14.2% share, the carmaker’s highest so far this year. Newcomer Tenet, a China-Russia joint venture assembling rebadged Chery vehicles at the Kaluga plant previously owned by Volkswagen, may have plateaued at 9.9% share vs. 10.8% last month and 11.1% in January. Geely (+23.6%) is back above sister brand Belgee (+113.5%) while Toyota (+150.8%) soars to 7th place with 2.7% share for an 8th straight Top 10 finish. Jaecoo (+48.5%), Solaris (+37%) and Jetour (+25.8%) also impress in the remainder of the Top 10.

Model-wise, the Lada Granta (-7.8%) continues to skid and sees its share go from 13.4% a year ago in March 2025 to just 9.5% this month. It is however better than the 9.1% of February and the 9.4% of January. The Haval Jolion (+39.9%) is back up to #2, edging past newcomer Tenet T7 down one spot on February to #3. The Lada Vesta (-40.5%) climbs back up three ranks on last month to #4 but still implies year-on-year. Excellent performances below by the Belgee X50 (+97.7%), Haval M6 (+69.8%) and Lada Niva Travel (+43.8%).

Taiwan March 2026: Tesla Model Y takes the lead with 11.6% share

6 April 2026 at 08:51

The Tesla Model Y is the best-selling vehicle in Taiwan in March.

39,138 new cars hit Taiwanese roads in March, a 5% year-on-year uptick. As a result the Q1 volume is now off -3.4% to 96,434. This a weak result given Q1 2025 was already down -11.2% on the year prior. Toyota (-10%) disappoints but easily keeps the lead of the brands charts with 27.1% share vs. 30.6% so far this year. Tesla (+313.2%) shoots up to 2nd place with 13.9% share, a new share record eclipsing the 11.7% it hit last December. Honda (+22%) also impresses in third position above Lexus (-4.7%) and CMC (-20.3%) both struggling. In contrast Mazda (+56.1%), Ford (+30.9%) and Mitsubishi (+24.5%) all shine in the remainder of the Top 10.

We have a surprise in the models charts: thanks to new shipments from China, the Tesla Model Y (+1164.6%) takes the overall lead for the second time ever in Taiwan after doing so last December, reaching a record 11.6% share vs. a previous best of 10.8% last December. The entire Top 4 shifts down one spot as a result: the Toyota Corolla Cross (-5.5%) is down to #2, the Toyota RAV4 (-3.6%) down to #3, the CMC J Space (-17.3%) down to #4 and the new Ford Territory to #5. The Toyota Town Ace (-32.7%) is back up three ranks on last month to #6 despite faltering year-on-year. Excellent performances by the Toyota bZ4X (+1550%), Mazda CX-5 (+179.9%) and Honda HR-V (+84.9%).

Croatia March 2026: Renault and Clio in the lead, Opel up 119.2%

6 April 2026 at 06:59

The Opel Frontera is up to #7 in Croatia in March.

It’s another very strong result for new car sales in Croatia at +26.6% in May to 7,929 registrations. This way, the Q1 volume is up 11.8% to 16,738. Like a year ago, Renault (+8.5%) is the favourite brand in the country, this time with 12.2% share which is 2 percentage points below its year-ago level. Skoda (+20.5%) is bumped down to #2 ahead of a timid Volkswagen (+13.8%). Opel (+119.2%) once again stands out and is up three spots on February to #4. BMW (+90.5%), Hyundai (+51.2%) and Toyota (+32%) also outpace the surging market in the remainder of the Top 10. Below, BYD (+2210%) smashes all its records at #12 with 231 sales and 2.9% share.

Model-wise, the Renault Clio (+3.3%) signs its first win since last April and leaps up to #4 year-to-date, a ranking it also held over the Full Year 2025. The Skoda Octavia (-3%) is relegated to 2nd place but holds onto the YTD pole position. The Renault Captur (+11.9%) comes from outside the February Top 20 directly into third place and is #6 year-to-date despite falling year-on-year. The VW T-Cross (-1.6%) and Suzuki Vitara (+12.3%) round out the Top 5 but both underperform. The Opel Mokka (+294.3%) multiplies its sales by 4 year-on-year while the new Opel Frontera is up to #7, its 2nd highest ranking below the #6 it hit last November.

Galaxy S25 users aren’t happy with Samsung

5 April 2026 at 17:08

The Galaxy S26 series launched with One UI 8.5, bringing new UI and animations upgrades as well as AI features that Galaxy S25 users have been waiting for since the launch day. Yet, the wait continues to stretch.

The Galaxy S25’s One UI 8.5 saga started in early December with the beta program. So far, 8 betas have been released with features, improvements, and optimizations. Still, the beta is missing some of the Galaxy S26 series features. One of these features is the call screening, which Samsung first denied compatibility with the S25 series and later announced would come with a future update.

Since Samsung prioritizes the Korean community in software rollouts, users on their forums are showing their disappointment with the company and reflecting on the low-grade treatment. The majority of Galaxy S25 users have criticised Samsung for the 7 OS update promise, which they don’t think Samsung is fulfilling with priority.

“Who would use a Galaxy like this? A phone costs over a million won, so it’s basically telling us to buy a new one every year just because a new model comes out. This is really too much. Do you think people using the Samsung S25 are suckers? If you’re going to categorize prices like this, then the promise of 7 years of updates was all a lie.” A Galaxy S25 user wrote about the One UI 8.5 and new AI feature situation.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series user complaining about Samsung's software update policy

This is just one example, and the forum has many such posts that show strong criticism of Samsung’s current OS upgrade rollout policy.

As a matter of fact, Samsung is clearly making it a stretch, and this isn’t even a major Android update. One UI 8.5 is still based on Android 16, which was released last year. So, much of the testing should have been done for the feature rather than OS compatibility. The time it’s taking for the rollout isn’t understandable.

Author’s take

Samsung is creating a divide here; it is selling new features with the Galaxy S26 series while the S25 users are watering their mouths. The most interesting fact is that S25 customers have paid almost an identical price compared to the latest phones. And, the phone maker is showing zero interest in prioritizing their user experience.

The company could have rushed the development for this lineup and released the update right after the S26 series launch, even in March; a move may have been welcomed by users.

We just entered April, and only the next One UI 8.5 rollout for the Galaxy S25 series will present a clear picture.

Hey Plex replacement is still missing from Galaxy S26 series

5 April 2026 at 10:52

Do you remember that Perplexity promised to bring a replacement for the Hey Plex voice wake-up for the Galaxy S26 series? Well, that feature is still missing in action.

Back in February, Samsung announced a strategic partnership with Perplexity, one of the leading AI companies. It was then announced that this AI will be part of the multi-agent strategy for the S26 series.

At the launch, both companies brought more to the table. Samsung Browser and Bixby are now using Perplexity’s summarization and agentic AI capabilities to get smarter than ever before.

That said, Samsung is still holding Google’s AI assistant as the key driver in the latest S-series devices. However, it’s also offering users a way to switch to Perplexity or Bixby. You can wake up these AI assistants through voice commands.

For example, Gemini wakes up with “Hey Google,” and it’s ready to take your questions, no matter if your phone is locked. You can do the same with Bixby for “Hey Bixby” and “Hey Plex” for Perplexity.

For those who are new to this topic, let me tell you that Perplexity, specifically, launched the Hey Plex wake-up phrase for the Galaxy S26 series. I tried this feature on my new S26 Ultra, and it worked quite like the new Bixby.

Yet, within a few days, the AI firm removed this wake-up phrase. The reason was unknown, and the company didn’t even bother sharing more information.

As the news began to spread online, Perplexity CEO, Aravind Srinivas, said that the “Hey Plex” wake-up phrase is changing to “Hey Perplexity”. Again, there was no explanation behind this decision.

So, we waited, and it’s the 5th of April, 2026, and Perplexity is still missing a wake-up phrase that both Samsung and Perplexity unveiled for the S26 series.

Hey Plex Galaxy S26

Moral of the story

Yes, nobody is noticing that Hey Plex or Hey Perplexity is missing from the new S26 phones because Gemini can do everything better than its competitors, including Bixby.

So what are we doing here? Because there’s a pattern to learn: Samsung installed Perplexity’s AI under its multi-agent framework. Perplexity is getting Samsung’s vast user data, changing its features right after the phone launch, while maintaining zero transparency. And it’s a common business strategy between the two companies. So, consumers aren’t the priority.

I said it before, and I will say it again, if this wake-up phrase change is only for the namesake, it will be one of the most time wasting investment from the Perplexity team.

Milan coach Allegri on Italy World Cup exit: ‘Very disappointed, we need solutions for young players’

5 April 2026 at 01:05

Massimiliano Allegri has spoken of his personal disappointment at Italy’s World Cup elimination while calling on football’s governing bodies to address the structural problems holding back the country’s young talent, ahead of Monday’s blockbuster Serie A clash with Napoli at the Maradona.

The Milan head coach was in a positive mood as his squad trained in front of a enthusiastic group of supporters, acknowledging that the players had earned genuine goodwill from the fanbase through their performances this season.

“We are very happy that the fans came out today, because they won’t be with us in Naples,” he said, via TuttoMercatoWeb.

“I think this year the players have earned the respect and esteem of the supporters through their commitment and determination in matches.”

Milan boss Allegri: ‘We must help young players develop better’

On the World Cup, Allegri was measured but sincere. “I don’t know why we didn’t qualify, what I do know is that as an Italian I am very disappointed,” he said.

“From this situation, the relevant authorities must thoroughly examine solutions that can help young players develop into good footballers.”

It is a sentiment that echoes the broader chorus of concern from across Italian football in recent days, and notable coming from one of the country’s most prominent and successful coaches.

On more immediate matters, Allegri confirmed that Ruben Loftus-Cheek has returned to full fitness, with Matteo Gabbia the only absentee, the defender expected back on Tuesday.

The prospect of facing a Napoli side that has recovered its key players was greeted with respect rather than concern.

“Napoli are a strong team, especially now that they have everyone available,” Allegri said. “It will be a wonderful match and we will need a great team performance.”

Design and Display

Build and Feel

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion focuses on durability with IP68/IP69 protection and a tough, practical build that feels more “ready-for-anything.” It leans toward reliability over flair. Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone (4a) stands out instantly with its transparent back and Glyph lighting system, offering a more expressive and modern aesthetic. It feels more lifestyle-oriented, while Motorola feels more functional and rugged.

Display Quality

Motorola pushes ahead with a 144Hz AMOLED panel and an extremely high peak brightness, making it excellent for outdoor visibility and ultra-smooth scrolling. Nothing counters with a 120Hz AMOLED display featuring better PWM dimming and HDR tuning, which can feel easier on the eyes during long usage. While Motorola is technically brighter and faster, Nothing’s display feels more balanced and refined for daily comfort.

Verdict

Motorola wins for durability and raw display brightness, but Nothing offers a more distinctive design and eye-friendly screen. Choice depends on whether practicality or personality matters more.

Specifications Including Battery

Performance

Both phones run on Snapdragon 7s-series chips, but the Nothing Phone (4a) uses the newer Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 globally, giving it a slight edge in efficiency and sustained performance. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion varies by region, which makes its performance slightly less consistent. In real-world use, Nothing feels a bit more stable during heavy multitasking and gaming sessions.

Battery and Charging

Motorola clearly dominates battery flexibility with options going up to a massive 7000mAh, paired with fast 68W charging. It is built for endurance users who prioritize longevity. Nothing, however, delivers a more balanced setup with around 5400mAh and 50W charging, plus reverse wired charging, adding convenience. Motorola lasts longer, but Nothing feels more versatile.

Verdict

Motorola is the better pick for battery life and fast charging, while Nothing edges ahead in consistent performance and practical charging features.

Camera

Main and Secondary Lenses

Nothing Phone (4a) takes a clear lead with a versatile triple-camera setup, including a periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. This adds real flagship-like flexibility for portraits and zoom shots. Motorola sticks to a simpler dual-camera system, delivering solid primary shots but lacking depth in versatility. Nothing’s camera system feels more complete and creative.

Selfie Camera

Both phones feature 32MP selfie cameras, but Motorola allows 4K video recording, giving it an advantage for content creators. Nothing limits selfie video to 1080p, but it maintains good color consistency and HDR.

Verdict

Nothing wins overall due to its telephoto lens and advanced video features like Dolby Vision. Motorola is reliable, but Nothing clearly offers more creative freedom.

Pricing

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is priced at around ₹27,000 ($250), while the Nothing Phone (4a) sits higher at approximately ₹32,000 ($450). This creates a noticeable gap, positioning Motorola as a value-focused option and Nothing as a mid-premium offering.

Is the Price Justified

Motorola delivers exceptional value with strong durability, a brighter display, and huge battery options at a lower price. It feels like a practical deal for users who want maximum hardware for less money. Nothing justifies its higher price with better cameras, a refined software experience, and a unique design that stands out in a crowded market.

Verdict

Motorola offers better value for money, while Nothing justifies its premium with features that feel more polished and distinctive.

Disclaimer:
Prices are approximate and may vary based on country, region, and applicable taxes.

Conclusion

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion stands out with its rugged durability, brighter 144Hz display, and massive battery options, making it ideal for heavy users and long-term reliability. Nothing Phone (4a), on the other hand, shines with its Glyph interface, periscope camera, and cleaner Nothing OS experience, offering a more premium and modern smartphone feel.

Verdict

Motorola is the smarter buy for budget-conscious users who want durability and battery life. Nothing is a better choice for those who value design, camera versatility, and a more refined overall experience.

Final Winner: Motorola Edge 70 Fusion – Best for value, battery, and durability
Alternative Pick: Nothing Phone (4a) – Better for camera, design, and UI

Disclaimer: This comparison is based on the specifications provided and is intended for general informational purposes. Actual performance, camera results, battery life, and overall experience may vary depending on real-world usage, software updates, and individual preferences.

One UI 8.5 Beta 9 bringing AirDrop to Galaxy S25 phones in days

By:Yash
4 April 2026 at 13:22

Samsung is preparing One UI 8.5 Beta 9 for the Galaxy S25 series, and it’s going to be big enough, thanks to the potential AirDrop inclusion.

After Google, Samsung brought AirDrop support to Android’s Quick Share. The sharing utility application has gained the ability to transfer files between Android and Apple software versions, such as iOS, iPadOS and macOS.

Samsung rolled out AirDrop support to the Galaxy S26 series. Now, it looks like the Galaxy S25 series will receive AirDrop as part of One UI 8.5 Beta 9 update. The latest Beta build, though internal, carries this feature, via Alfaturk.

Recently, it was reported that the 9th Beta could arrive in the second week of April. The exact date could be April 9, but it’s not officially confirmed. There will be another Beta afterwards, which would arrive as the 10th Beta.

Samsung’s AirDrop update makes it easier to share and receive files across One UI and iOS. Galaxy users can easily transfer and receive files. It doesn’t require the installation of any application on both sides, making it a big deal.

The Korean tech giant may offer AirDrop sharing feature to a range of Galaxy devices. Initially landed on the Pixel 10 and expanded to Pixel 9, it is available on Galaxy S26 series and One UI 8.5 rollout could mark a massive expansion.

Samsung may begin rolling out Stable One UI 8.5 update in late April or early May. If the final Beta (Beta 10) releases on April 20, as rumored, the public build could start hitting Galaxy S25 phones by the end of April this year.

After World Cup humiliation, what do Italy have left to play for in 2026?

3 April 2026 at 23:10

Italy’s third consecutive failure to qualify for the World Cup has left a void at the heart of the nation’s football calendar this summer, and while the rest of the world prepares to descend on North America for the tournament, the Azzurri must find a way to rebuild both on and off the pitch.

The immediate programme offers little room for comfort.

With no World Cup to prepare for, a friendly against Greece in June fills what would have been a summer of anticipation.

It is a sobering fixture for a nation that has won the tournament four times, and the match will take place in an atmosphere shaped entirely by the fallout from the Bosnia defeat, likely with no FIGC president elected yet, a new head coach, and with questions about the entire direction of Italian football still very much unresolved.

World Cup exit may sting but Italy still have something to play for in 2026

The more meaningful action begins in September, when Italy enter UEFA Nations League Group A1 alongside France, Belgium and Turkey, a genuinely demanding group that offers both a stern test and a genuine opportunity.

The campaign opens at home to Belgium on 25 September before a trip to Turkey three days later.

October brings the biggest challenge of the group stage, with a visit to France on 2 October followed by a home return against Turkey.

The group concludes in November with Italy hosting France before travelling to Belgium.

Nations League Group A1 represents something tangible to play for.

The competition offers a route back to relevance, winners of the top group earn prestige and ranking points, while the Nations League also provides Euro 2028 qualification implications further down the line.

More immediately, it gives whoever takes charge of the Azzurri a competitive platform to begin the rebuilding process in earnest.

The challenge for Italy’s new leadership, both at federation level and in the dugout, will be to channel the anger and embarrassment of this summer into genuine structural reform.

Del Piero, Capello, Baresi and countless others have called for humility and a willingness to start from scratch.

The Nations League fixtures, unglamorous as they may feel right now, are where that process must begin.

Del Piero hits out at need for Italy reform: ‘We only think about saving ourselves, that must change’

3 April 2026 at 21:52

Alessandro Del Piero has delivered one of the most forthright assessments of Italy’s footballing crisis since the World Cup playoff elimination, calling for genuine humility and structural reform rather than the blame-shifting and self-preservation that has characterised the response from those in power.

Read Football Italia Ad-Free and get access to Exclusive News – Free Trial – Click Here

Speaking on Sky Calcio Unplugged, the Juventus legend did not mince his words on the gravity of a third consecutive absence from the World Cup. “The first time in 2018 was a shock, the second felt like a nightmare; the third is starting to become embarrassing to justify,” he said. “We were an enormous power and finding ourselves here for the third time is incredible.”

Del Piero was emphatic that the failure cannot be pinned on any single individual, insisting the problems run far deeper than Gattuso’s short tenure or Gravina’s presidency.

“There are many complex situations that have all converged to produce this result,” he said. “Behind all of this there is so much more.”

Italy legend Del Piero: ‘We only think about saving our own ass, that needs to change’

His prescription for recovery was equally clear, and pointed directly at the culture of self-interest he believes is holding football back in Italy.

“We fundamentally think only about saving our own ass. That needs to change.”

The 51-year-old drew inspiration from Italy’s previous moments of crisis, arguing that adversity has historically brought out the best in the national character. “In our greatest moments of sporting crisis, 1982, 2006, we managed to find energy, creativity, desire and solutions,” he said. “Even today, when we seem far from those solutions.”

On the path to rebuilding, Del Piero identified a fundamental cultural problem in how young players are developed.

“We tell youngsters too much what to do, and this kills their creativity,” he said. “They become good at executing instructions but the moment they step outside that system they make mistakes and get written off as poor players. That is not the truth, the problem is that they have only been taught one thing.”

His closing message for Italy was blunt. “Pride must be set aside. What is needed now is humility, a willingness to start again, to study and to analyse who is doing things well. We are no longer who we think we are.”

One UI 8.5 Beta is coming to Galaxy A36, A55, A35, A54, Z Fold 5 and Flip 5

By:Yash
6 April 2026 at 15:50

Samsung’s One UI 8.5 Beta testing has entered a crucial phase for the Galaxy A36, A55, A35, A54, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5. The company is internally testing the new software update before bringing it to users through public Beta Program.

Update: April 6, 2026

  • Galaxy A55 seems eligible for the One UI 8.5 Beta Program, as Samsung is reportedly testing the Beta build inside. Many devices are set to join the early access program this month, and Galaxy A55 has become a strong contender.
    • A556SKSU7ZZD3

Update: April 5, 2026

  • Samsung may also bring One UI 8.5 Beta update to the Galaxy A54. The first public Beta build has been spotted on the company’s server. It signals that early access could soon be available to owners of the A54 device.
    • SM-A546E – A546EXXUJZZD4

Original story as follows

Public One UI 8.5 Beta builds are getting ready for the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A35, along with Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, as spotted by @Mohammed_K_2010 and @tarunvats33.

Here are the build versions:

  • Galaxy A36: A366EXXU8ZZD1
  • Galaxy A35: A356NKSU8ZZD1
  • Galaxy Z Fold 5: F946NKSU6ZZD1
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5: F731NKSU6ZZD1

You may notice something familiar in these upcoming builds. They initially appeared for the Korean (except for A56) models and the last four characters are the same. It signals that the software is being developed in harmony across models.

Last month, Samsung announced a major expansion of the Beta Program. The company also confirmed that another expansion is scheduled for April. This month is gearing up to welcome the One UI 8.5 Beta for these Galaxy devices:

  • Galaxy S23 series
  • Galaxy Z Fold 5
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5
  • Galaxy A36
  • Galaxy A35
  • Galaxy A55 (highly likely)
  • Galaxy A56 (highly likely)

Galaxy A56 and A55 were released with the A36 and A35, and both devices match the OTA timeline. That said, chances are high for A55 and A55 joining the Beta Program. We may soon witness the One UI 8.5 test builds for this model as well.

Samsung may not end the One UI 8.5 Beta Program soon. The company reportedly plans to provide two more Beta builds to the Galaxy S25 users. A leaked plan outlined important dates for Beta rollouts across lineups.

Italy March 2026: Leapmotor T03 on podium

3 April 2026 at 09:33

The Leapmotor T03 becomes the first Chinese model to enter the Italian podium.

New car sales in Italy are up by a solid 7.6% year-on-year in March to 185,367 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 9.2% to 484,802. Private sales are up 18% to 95,638 and 51.2% share vs. 46.7% a year ago (up 7.7% to 53.2% share YTD), self registrations are up 8.3% to 15,397 and 8.2% share, unchanged on March 2025 (up 19.1% to 9.2% share YTD), long term leases fall -11.8% to 40,781 and 21.8% share vs. 26.6% in March 2025 (down -3.2% to 21.1% share YTD), short term rentals are up 9.7% to 25,082 and 13.4% share vs. 13.2% last year (up 51.3% to 11.4% share YTD) and company sales gain 7.6% to 9,790 and 5.2% share, unchanged (up 2% to 5.1% share YTD).

BEVs shoot up 71.7% to 16,137 and 8.6% share vs. 5.4% in March 2025 (up 65.3% to 7.8% share vs. 5.2% YTD) and PHEVs soar 114.5% to 16,998 and 9.1% share vs. 4.6% a year ago (up 123.3% to 8.8% share YTD). This way, rechargeable cars gain 91.3% to 33,135 and 17.7% share vs. 10% in March 2025 (up 91.7% to 81,098 and 16.6% share YTD vs. 9.5% over the same period in 2025.

In the brands ranking, Fiat (+27.2%) continues to catch up on lost time but sees its share drop from 13.4% in February to 11.4% this month. YTD volumes are up 29.8% to 12.7% share. Volkswagen (+2.7%) overtakes Toyota (-5.6%) for second place while Dacia (+4.3%) climbs back up five spots on last month #4, overtaking sister brand Renault (+1.8%), a soaring Audi (+27.4%), a freefalling Peugeot (-26.7%), BMW (+8.2%) and Jeep (-7.8%). Citroen (+11%) closes out the Top 10 in sturdy fashion. Kia (+22.3%) also makes itself entice at #11, while Chinese Leapmotor (+2727.2%) breaks its volume record at 5,513 units and BYD surges 190.6% to #17 and 2.8% share.

Model-wise, the Fiat Panda (-11.6%) accounts for 6% of its home market vs. 8% last month, entirely responsible for the brand’s drop vs. February. The Jeep Avenger (+6.1%) repeats at a record 2nd place with 2.8% share. Once again the biggest event of the month is delivered by the Leapmotor T03 (+2889.3%) up to a surreal and record third place. This is because of its price reduced to an incredible €4,900 after incentives and a further €3,000 rebate from the manufacturer. Samsung’s 2026 OLED TVs pack 165Hz gaming, AI upscaling and zero glare

By:Yash
3 April 2026 at 08:54

Samsung officially launched its 2026 OLED TVs in the US, bringing 165Hz gaming, AI upscaling and zero glare. At the top of the stack sit the S95H, S90H, and S85H, scaling up to 83 inches.

The Korean tech giant is doubling down on the idea that your TV should be smart enough to adapt, not just display.

The standout is the S95H with its new FloatLayer design, built to sit flush against the wall and double as digital art via the Samsung Art Store. It is a clear shift toward making TVs part of home decor, not just entertainment hardware.

On the performance side, Samsung is focusing heavily on real-world viewing. Glare Free technology now expands to both S95H and S90H, tackling reflections, which often matter more than peak brightness.

Gamers get a serious upgrade with Motion Xcelerator 165Hz, along with G-SYNC and FreeSync Premium Pro support. This is Samsung preparing for high-end gaming beyond consoles.

At the core sits the NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, powering features like 4K AI upscaling, HDR remastering, and automatic picture tuning.

Software is another big play. Samsung Vision AI Companion and a seven-year OS update promise signal a long-term shift. This lineup shows Samsung is thinking beyond displays, aiming to build smarter, longer-lasting TVs.

Samsung has also outlined US pricing for its broader 2026 OLED TV lineup.

  • The flagship S95H series starts at $2,499.99 for the 55-inch model and goes up to $6,499.99 for the 83-inch variant.
  • Sitting just below it, the S90H lineup ranges from $1,399.99 for the 42-inch model to $5,299.99 for the 83-inch version, offering a wider spread of sizes for different room setups.
  • The more accessible S85H series begins at $1,199.99 for 48 inches and tops out at $4,499.99 for the 83-inch class.

Bosnia & Sassuolo defender Muharemovic: ‘I’m sorry for Italy, I have a lot of respect’

1 April 2026 at 23:52

Tarik Muharemovic was in a magnanimous mood after Bosnia’s World Cup playoff victory over Italy, offering warm words for a country where he has built his club career while celebrating the realisation of a lifelong dream.

The Sassuolo defender, who plays his club football in Serie A, spoke to Swiss Italian channel RSI in the immediate aftermath of the penalty shootout win, carefully navigating the emotional complexity of eliminating a nation he clearly holds in genuine affection.

“My dream was to play at the World Cup with Bosnia, the greatest dream of all of us,” he said, with quotes via TuttoMercatoWeb.

“All my respect to Italy, my friends and brothers.”

Bosnia star Muharemovic: ‘I’m very happy in Italy, I never lost respect’

He was also keen to clarify comments from a previous interview that had apparently been misinterpreted.

“I hope they did not take it badly, because I have many friends and brothers there. I am very happy in Italy. I have never lost respect, I know where I come from and that I am humble. Italy is always in my heart.”

On the match itself, Muharemovic acknowledged how difficult the Azzurri had made things despite playing with ten men for the majority of the contest following Bastoni’s red card.

“They tried everything, even with one fewer player, and it was not easy to hold on for 120 minutes. I am sorry for them.”

His pride in Bosnia’s achievement, however, was unmistakable.

“Bosnia is back and making itself known, this is only the beginning. We can show much more.”

With the World Cup now on the horizon, his message was simple. “We are ready. Now we celebrate, then we think about the World Cup.”

İtaliya millisi ilk dəfə bu aqibətlə üzləşdi

1 April 2026 at 20:00

Ötən gecə Bosniya və Herseqovina yığması ilə həlledici oyundan məğlub ayrılmış İtaliya millisi antirekorda imza atıb.

Arena.az xəbər verir ki, dördqat (1934, 1938, 1982, 2006) dünya çempionu ilk dəfə ardıcıl 3 mundialdan kənarda qalıb.

Bu, ötən gecə baş tutan pley-off mərhələsinin həlledici oyununda Bosniya və Herseqovina ilə matçda reallaşıb. Görüşün əsas və əlavə vaxtı 1:1 hesabı ilə başa çatdığından qalibi müəyyənləşdirmək üçün penaltilər seriyasına ehtiyac duyulub. Burada daha dəqiq oynayan (4:1) Bosniya və Herseqovina millisi sensasiyaya imza ataraq Cennaro Qattuzonun baş məşqçisi olduğu İtaliya yığmasını turnirdən kənarlaşdırıb.

Qeyd edək ki, İtaliya millisi sonuncu dəfə 2006-cı ildə dünya çempionu olub. Ancaq bu komanda son 3 mundialın seçmə mərhələsində uğurlu çıxış edə bilməyərək final mərhələsindən kənarda qalıb.

DÇ-2026: Türkiyə millisi sevindi, İtaliya mundialsız qaldı

1 April 2026 at 01:35

Bu gün futbol üzrə dünya çempionatının (DÇ-2026) Avropa zonası üzrə pley-off mərhələsində 4 final qarşılşaması keçirilib.

Arena.az xəbər verir ki, bununla da Avropadan mundiala son vəsiqələrin sahibləri müəyyənləşib.

Türkiyə millisi səfərdə Kosovo yığması ilə görüşüb və minimal hesabla qalib gəlməklə 24 illik fasilədən sonra dünya çempionatının final mərhələsində iştirak hüququ qazanıb.

İsveç millisi evdə Polşa yığmasıyla qarşılaşıb. Beş qolluq görüşün yekununda sevinən tərəf isveçlilər olublar.

İtaliya yığması səfərdə Bosniya və Herseqovina millisi ilə üz-üzə gəlib. Əsas vaxtı 1:1 hesabıyla yekunlaşmış bu görüşün yekununda qalib penaltilər seriyasında müəyyənləşib. Bosniyalılar tarixi uğura imza ataraq İtaliyanı DÇ-2026-dan kənarda qoyublar.

New Zealand February 2026: Hyundai Tucson and Nissan Navara impress

31 March 2026 at 12:40

The Hyundai Tucson is up to a record 2nd place in New Zealand in February.

New vehicle sales in New Zealand jump 8.3% year-on-year in February to 10,193 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 8.5% to 22,000. Toyota (-34.2%) stays on top of the brands ranking but sees its market share crash to 14.9% vs. 24.5% a year ago in February 2025. In contrast Ford (+44.3%) surges ahead to 12.6% of the market vs. 11.4% so far this year. Mitsubishi (-13.5%) falls one spot on last month to #3 and 8.9% share vs. 10% year-to-date. In the remainder of the Top 10, Hyundai (+185.7%), Nissan (+41.1%) and BYD (+37.3%) stand out. Newcomer Chery repeats at #13 with 1.9% share.

Over the models charts, the Ford Ranger (+44.7%) lodges an excellent score and repeats at #1, cementing its YTD leadership. The surprise of the month is delivered by the Hyundai Tucson surging 17 ranks on last month to #2, the nameplate’s best-ever ranking in New Zealand, meaning it snaps the SUV crown off the Toyota RAV4 (-48.7%) hit by its generation changeover. In between is the Nissan Navara (+147.6%) managing another outstanding month at #3. The Mitsubishi ASX (+25.7%) is very strong at #5, as are the Ford Everest (+108.3%) and Toyota Hiace (+81.8%). The Toyota Hilux (-50.6%) implodes at #6 as the new generation slowly arrives in dealerships.

Previous month: New Zealand January 2026: Mitsubishi (+42%), Nissan Navara (+139.6%) stand out in solid market

Slovakia February 2026: Toyota Corolla threatens Skoda Octavia in stable market

31 March 2026 at 05:35

The Toyota Corolla is the 2nd best-selling vehicle in Slovakia in February.

The Slovak new car market stabilises in February at -0.9% year-on-year to 6,151. This is however a poor result given February 2025 was down -19.4% on the year prior. Due to a disastrous January figure, the year-to-date tally remains in frank negative at -8.3% to 11,742. In the brands charts, Skoda (-6%) struggles but still manages a solid 19.6% share. In contrast Hyundai (+33.9%) excels and gains three spots on last month to #2 with 9.4% share vs. 7.1% so far this year. Sister brand Kia (+1.4%) is stable and steps up to #3. Toyota (-5.7%) and Volkswagen (-5.3%) round out the Top 5 in weak fashion. Meanwhile Suzuki (+95.1%) continues to surge and is up to #6 year-to-date vs. #14 over the Full Year 2025. Further down, Fiat (+248%) stands out at #17.

Model-wise, the Skoda Octavia (-25%) stays on top with 4.1% share despite a drastic year-on-year fall, with the Toyota Corolla (+98.3%) nipping at its heels with 3.8% share. The Corolla also ranks #2 year-to-date vs. #12 over the Full Year 2025. The Kia Ceed (-13.7%) disappoints at #3 ahead of the Skoda Karoq (+11.4%) and Hyundai i30 (+38%). The Hyundai Tucson (+75%), i20 (+72.2%), Skoda Kamiq (+42.4%) and Fabia (+27.1%) also shine below.

Colombia February 2025: Kia Picanto repeats at #1, sales up 49.5%

29 March 2026 at 11:20

The Kia Picanto is once again the most popular vehicle in Colombia.

New vehicle sales in Colombia continue to surge, at +49.5% year-on-year in February to 25,582 units. This way, the year-to-date tally is now up 44.6% to 45,580. This the highest February volume in 12 years. Kia (+48.4%) follows the market to remain in the brands pole position by far with 14.6% share. It is followed like last month by Renault (+6.4%) down to 9.6% share. Chevrolet (+65.5%) advances two spots on January to #3, distancing Toyota (+25.8%) and Mazda (+9%) both weak. BYD (+136.9%) scores the biggest year-on-year gain in the Top 10 ahead of Foton (+132.3%). Notice Tesla ranking at #18 with 1.2% share for its first month in this market.

Model-wise, the Kia Picanto (+102.5%) once again doubles its year-ago volume to repeat at #1 and sign a third win in the past 6 months (add last September). The Toyota Corolla Cross (+164.4%) rallies back up six spots on last month to #2 ahead of the Kia K3. The Renault Duster Nacional (-2.4%) suffers at #4 as it ranked #1 a year ago. The BYD Yuan Up (+152.9%) brilliantly rounds out the Top 5 after ranking #4 last December. Excellent performance by the Hyundai Kona (+132.3%) up to a new record 7th place. Notice also the Ford Territory up to #15 and the Tesla Model 3 landing directly at #23.

Previous month: Colombia January 2026: Kia Picanto and K3 best-sellers in euphoric market (+38.9%)

“This Repulses Me” – Veteran Dev Criticizes GDC’s Focus on the “Festival of Gaming” at the Industry’s “Most Dire Point Since the Atari Crash”

6 March 2026 at 23:00

A split image with Greg Costikyan and a 'GDC' logo and event details on the left stating March 9-13, 2026, Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA

This year's Game Developers Conference (GDC) kicks off next Monday, and a controversy has already emerged following today's LinkedIn outburst by industry veteran Greg Costikyan. First things first, though: context. While not a household name among gamers like Hideo Kojima or Todd Howard, Costikyan is a renowned game designer whose career spans tabletop roleplaying games, board games, wargames, video games (he worked from 2019 to 2023 on Stars Reach, the upcoming sci-fi sandbox MMO by Playable Worlds, as Game Design Lead), and more. The Galaxy S26 Series’ Sales Are Pulling Ahead Of The S25 Lineup’s, Incentivizing Samsung’s Laziness

6 March 2026 at 21:58

Galaxy S26 review roundup

Despite putting forth what is largely an iterative update with the new Galaxy S26 series, Samsung appears to be raking in higher sales relative to the last year's Galaxy S25 series, at least as per initial impressions. Should this trend continue, however, it risks rewarding complacency, one that might feasibly result in progressively less competitive offerings from Samsung further down the line. Samsung Galaxy S26 series has recorded a pre-order volume of 1.35 million units in South Korea so far Samsung has now revealed that its initial pre-order volume for the new Galaxy S26 series stands at 1.35 million units […]

PlayStation 6 Reportedly Won’t Be Delayed Due to RAM Costs: “It Would Cost More to Delay Than to Pay Extra”

6 March 2026 at 16:43

A sleek, futuristic console labeled 'PS6 PlayStation 6' with the PlayStation logo is displayed on a pedestal.

The PlayStation 6 will reportedly stick to its 2027/early 2028 launch window despite rising component costs, as the financial penalty for delaying TSMC 3nm production far outweighs the current "RAMmageddon" price hikes. Despite recent rumors suggesting a push to 2029, insider Moore’s Law Is Dead argues that Sony’s production contracts with TSMC and the massive development costs already sunk into the system's Orion APU would make a significant delay extremely problematic. According to the report shared in a new YouTube video, Sony has reportedly already secured its 3nm manufacturing allotment from TSMC for Q2 2027. Pulling out now would be […]

WWE 2K26 Review – Respectable Roster Refresh

5 March 2026 at 15:00

WWE 2K26

Like many of the wrestlers the franchise lets you play as, the WWE 2K games have been on top of the world, down and out, and everything in between. Thankfully, as I described in my hands-on impressions, WWE 2K26 seems to be spreading the love a bit more with new features. Does WWE 2K26 light a fire under the franchise? Or is it […]

A collage showcases four indie games—Blue Prince, Mixtape with the tagline 'Nothing but the hits,' Blighted, and My Little Puppy

Nintendo hosted its first Indie World Showcase of 2026 and the fourth Nintendo Direct event of the year this morning, with an 18-minute presentation chock-full of indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. While the showcase lacked some of the heavy-hitter reveals we guessed at after Nintendo announced the showcase yesterday, like the release date reveal for Hollow Knight Silksong: Sea of Sorrows DLC or a Vampire Crawlers release date, it wasn't without its big indie announcements. One of the most notable announcements (and the one that closed out the show) was the reveal that Blue Prince […]
